What is truly unique about the D.DAY Museum is that the building that houses the collections is in fact an old US military hospital built on the Omaha Beach site right after the landing.
Later, after having been used as an event location for the municipality, the building found its true vocation as a museum dedicated to the memory of those who fought on D Day.
In 1999 Michel BRISSARD acquired the museum in order to present his personal collections and to share the history of this great battle with the public.
